Far, far away
Somewhere where skies are gray
Looking forward to an unfolding
Of sky blue and golden rays
The arrival of the destined one
To complement and cement
Making whole
What has been fractioned too long
Close, so close is it
That I can scarcely fathom
But I still look far away
It is almost in my bosom
Awaiting the removal
Of the veil from my eyes
Transforming gray
Into blue, blue skies
