Sekhmet

Fire and blood

Blazing, running

Destructive feet trod

Deliberate and cunning

She cuts down mischief

Obliterating war

Warring for peace

Which now is not far

The goddess is angry

Vengeance her cause

Sweeping up enemies

Without giving pause

Smiting all in her path

Ignorance means nothing

Evoking her wrath

Her recompense unrelenting

The destruction so great

She must be appeased

Water, not fire

Will put her at ease
