Forbidden Fruit

Just the sight makes you savour.

The lust inside gets stronger.

Over a fruit like this–wish I had the power

To enjoy every inch of its flavour.

Forbidden fruit is best; the thirst is real.

I’ve just experienced it in my mind.

Can hardly wait on the actual feel;

That sensation of sipping fine wine.

The best I’ve laid eyes upon;

Now it’s time to make us one.

Forget the taste–the whole thing then;

Can’t share something so divine.

But until then my mind will roam;

Longing for your full to come.

I’m not dismayed–a good feeling I have;

So I wait, and wait with much aplomb.
