Water—soft and malleable
Changing shape if need be
Sitting still or flowing freely
Meeting—both river and sea
Water—hard and unforgiving
Frozen cold, quite frigid
The iceberg that breaks the hull
The blizzard causing a standstill
It’s the wind that shows her mettle
Cold, warm, or hot
Freezing, boiling, or settled
Come what may, she will adapt
