An International Development graduate (MSc.) from the University of Birmingham, U.K., majoring in poverty and inequality reduction strategies, Ms. McBean has conducted research on sports tourism as a vehicle to socio-economic development, which she presented at the UNWTO Global Tourism Conference, and on the alignment of tourism investment to the SDGs in Jamaica, published in the Worldwide Hospitality and Tourism Themes academic journal.
